Star Wars fans who want to know more about the geography of the furthest galaxy are in luck. The upcoming book The Edge of the Star Wars Galaxy: The Batuu travel guide was somehow intended to accompany the expansion of the theme park, which opened last year in Disneyland and Disneyland. But the book contains a map that shows tons of planets of the franchise, giving insight and perspective.
The official galactic map of the Star Wars universe, revealed in the Batuu guidebook #GalaxysEdge!

The map contains just over 100 planets covering the entire franchise area. The famous planets from the movies Naboo, Tatuin, Coruscant and Mustafar and less known destinations like Chorus Anselm and Rishi are included in the list. The television part of Star Wars will also be presented, including Moraband, Sullust and Lothal. Perhaps the most interesting planet of all is Xibariz, which comes from the cancelled video game called Project Ragtag. This has some possible consequences. Or it could be a deeply incised Easter egg.

There are some interesting revelations. On one side is Ah-To, the planet where Luke isolated himself and which was heavily represented in the last Jedi, at the end of the map where no other planets are nearby. That’s probably why he was so hard to find. On the page of the book is also a description of the location of Batuu, which is located on the outskirts. The description is as follows.
As you can see, Batuu is located on the west side of the outer ring, on the border between the known and the unknown. This is the place that shaped the history of the planet. For the advanced capabilities of hyperspace, Batuu’s position had turned it into a noisy fuel stop for ships heading into the wilderness. Thanks to technological progress and well thought-out hyperlinks, most modern travellers prefer to avoid Batuu, making the planet a crossroads for adventurers and a refuge for those who prefer to live in the shadows.
A card key also indicates the world the reader is looking at, whether it is the basic world, the inner ring, the outer ring, the cabin room or something else. The edge of the Star Wars galaxy: The guide for Batuu was written in peace and quiet. The reader is intended as a visitor from another part of the galaxy, looking for recommendations on where to eat, shop and visit tourist sites.
It seems that this map does not contain all known planets in the galaxy Star Wars. But for those who have been fans for a long time, it is a well thought out tool that gives us a new perspective on certain events and even characters in the franchise. The edge of the Star Wars galaxy: Batuu’s guide is scheduled for the 23rd. June in the shops. Check the card yourself. This image originally appeared on Reddit.
